Kelly Howard - Owner/CRNP
Kelly Howard is the owner and nurse practitioner of Shoals Women’s Health & Wellness in Florence, AL.
She started her career in obstetrics and gynecology nursing in the Labor and Delivery department at UAB Hospital after completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Jacksonville State University in 2003. While at UAB, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing in 2007. Kelly is a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience in caring for and guiding women through all stages of life.
Kelly has experience in obstetrics and gynecology, women’s primary care, family planning through the public healthcare system, reproductive health, infertility, gynecological problems, weight loss, and bio-identical hormone replacement therapy.
In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, music, art, staying active, and spending quality time with her husband and two sons.
Connie Landers - Receptionist
Connie is the welcoming face and dedicated receptionist at Shoals Women's Health & Wellness in Florence, Alabama. With an impressive 45 years of experience in the medical field, including the last 23 years focused on OBGYN, Connie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. She takes great pride in nurturing enduring relationships with former patients and colleagues, while embracing the opportunity to forge connections with new individuals. Beyond her professional commitments, Connie treasures moments spent with her husband, two children, and four grandchildren. Over the past 14 years, Connie has collaborated closely with Kelly Howard in various OBGYN offices, demonstrating her commitment to delivering top-notch care and support to every patient.
Ashley Glover, RDMS
Ashley is a highly skilled diagnostic medical sonographer at Shoals Women's Health & Wellness in Florence, Alabama. She graduated from Wallace State Community College's Diagnostic Medical Sonography program in 2008 with an Associate degree in applied science and is registered in Abdomen and OBGYN sonography by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
With almost 15 years of expertise in OBGYN sonography, Ashley excels in building strong connections with her patients and their families. At Shoals Women's Health & Wellness, she's dedicated to providing exceptional care tailored to each individual's needs.
Outside of work, Ashley enjoys reading, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her husband and two boys.
Desirae Howard, Medical Assistant
Desirae is a devoted and compassionate medical assistant at Shoals Women's Health & Wellness. With several years of experience, she is dedicated to delivering top-notch patient care.
Driven by her passion for helping others, Desirae is committed to positively impacting the health and well-being of her patients. She's thrilled to be continuing her journey as a medical assistant, particularly in women's health, where she can contribute to improving lives every day.
Outside of work, Desirae finds joy in spending quality time with her husband and two children.
